GTA Banshee is up for sale.

$170 is pretty steep, but I'm still a fan. The least the owner could do is replace the hood struts.
Custom version of the Banshee from Grand Theft Auto for sale on eBay, front three-quarter view.

"Clutch" Watch Prototype

Last couple years, I've really wanted to do some watch designs. Here's one that I was able to prototype for fun. This is inspired by a clutch plate, hence the name 'Clutch'.
Started from sketches and into Illustrator for some technical drawings.

Transferred that into 3D and modeled up the internals of an existing watch. A little reverse engineering as I wasn't about to prototype a movement.
Also, the exploded view of all the components.

Once I was happy I sent it to Tangent Engineering (www.tangentservices.com) for rapid prototyping of the body in ABS plastic. The process of sanding, priming, painting.

The final product. It works! Now onto the next one.
James 4:13-15
13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

Wood work - Skateboard engraving

I retired my old skateboard and re-purposed it. Get more use out of this way these days.
My original to get an idea what this would look like...

...and then here's the vision in Photoshop. This one was looking a bit too Asian inspired.

Ready to mount...

And the finished product. Think I'll do a bunch more now. Good fun.

VPV LM competition entry

The VPV (version 2.0) Local Motors Competition Entry

Local Motors latest competition is the Active Lifestyle Vehicle Challenge. There's 82 validated entries and I decided to join in. Here's my entry. It was a fun competition with so many cool features you can add to this type of vehicle. There's only about 4 days left to vote as of this posting. If you're interested in checking it out here's a link to my design where you can vote.

And of course here's a few images.

Motive Kestrel Physical Prototype

More Kestrel shots

This must be the Kestrel's final resting place. She's in Winnepeg Manitoba at the Composites Innovations Centre if anyone happens to be in the neighbourhood, ha. Looks cool in silver.

Customs Factory Custom Mustang

Louie Dietz of Customs Factory Mustang Project

My good friend Louie Dietz got me involved on his Mustang project. With his input I was able to come up with clean, sporty updated look to his 67' Mustang Fastback. Can't wait to see this one in the flesh. Sounds like he'll be going with the 'Grabber Blue'.

My A-Surface CAD work on the 2013 GTA Bravado Banshee

Just recently I had the privilege of working on the 2013 GTA Banshee for Rockstar Games and West Coast Customs. Here's a link to Rockstar's article
Here I am at West Coast Customs just before they put the final rims on the car. Very cool to see her come from the screen to real life. Louie Dietz of Customs Factory got me involved with WCC and I was hired to do the task of taking the GTA game data and marrying that to a 2008 Dodge Viper chassis. We also had scan data of the Viper and decided to keep the greenhhouse of the Viper as it was pretty close to the Banshee and much easier than producing all new glass and structure. I did a few CAD renders earlier on in red as well.
In the screenshot you can see the light blue is all the new surface data I created...

...and here's the real deal.
