Thanks for checking out my blog. In addition to my personal website I figured it's worthwhile to create a blog showing more up to date work. That being said, I'll probably post some old work once in a while too.

Velometro Update - My maiden voyage
When the Velometro team were in town, I just caught them before they packed up the VEEMO. So I took a cruise around the indoor parking lot. It's a fun ride.

Trip to Toronto
Had a little business trip to Toronto. Can't say what I'm working on yet, but had an awesome time with this team. Plan to have something to show off in the 1st quarter next year.

Toronto Zoo has given green light to Magnovate Maglev rail
Toronto has an old monorail track sitting dormant at their zoo. Magnovate will be retrofitting their Maglev trains to use the track. Still several years out, but I'm pretty stoked to see it.

ECC 3 Clock Series - Tango Bistro Art show
It's been a while. Works kept me busy, but I've found a new hobby to design and build clocks from bike parts. This is a series of clocks with a title ECC 3 (Ecclesiastes 3) - "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens..." So far I've completed 7 clocks with a couple more on the way. I hope you enjoy and they're for sale if you're interested. Come out to Tango Bistro to have a look: www.tangobistro.ca

eWriter / eReader design
The eWriter (name yet to be finalized) is a concept by Mischa
Bertrand-Chetty. He's a local Calgarian with an entrepreneurial side who
wants to develop the writer/reader and get into the notebook game. He
provided me the specs and I began with sketching and finding various
influences that could make this stand out. I suggested we go for a more
vintage or classical look as opposed to the typical plastic laptop
appearance. Old leather notebooks and journals came to mind and became
the inspiration. It has a quality feel that should make it stand out in a
crowded market.
