AEV 311 is on the streets

It's been too long since last post, but the latest I can show is the AEV 311 trike. It's been the works since the January of 2017. I'll post more extensive info on my site soon, but here's a few process pics and final photos. You can see more info on the AEV site here: https://aevgo.com/

Havelaar Bison e-pickup vid

Havelaar Bison E-Pickup truck is here...

The Bison was originally penned back in 2012. We revisited the design with Havelaar in 2016 and after 1 year of development we have a first prototype built. The design is bold, punctuated with angular cladding and wedge profiles. An evolutionary leap forward from traditional pickups, the Bison delivers a more modern and provocative approach. With short overhangs and tires pushed to the corners, the stance conveys stability and confidence allowing for aggressive approach and departure angles.

Information I can give on the truck.
- 50 & 90 kW batteries will be offered.
- The 90kW should provide 300+ km range
- Base price will start around $60,000 CAD for a more work oriented configuration
- Designed and built in Canada
- First 100 vehicles will be sold to municipalities and fleet with a target of late 2018, further full scale production into 2019

I designed a custom desk for my office. Built by Heritage Forge Creations.

Designed this desk to replace the old tired IKEA one in my office. Was super stoked to have Peter of Heritage Forge Creations built it for me. He does amazing work!

Zero to 60 Designs GTT - My take on a Mustang / GT Supercar

I started sketching the GTT (GT Tribute) about a year ago. A client and friend Kenny Pfitzer saw and it wanted to make it the real deal. He's started his own company called Zero to 60 Designs and thought this would be the perfect ride to make a splash. Here's the main gallery on their site and a few pics below. Hope you enjoy it!

Velometro Update - My maiden voyage

When the Velometro team were in town, I just caught them before they packed up the VEEMO. So I took a cruise around the indoor parking lot. It's a fun ride.

Trip to Toronto

Had a little business trip to Toronto. Can't say what I'm working on yet, but had an awesome time with this team. Plan to have something to show off in the 1st quarter next year.
A2B electric designed by friend and colleague Paul Deutchman. It's been cruising Toronto for almost 10 years now and still turning heads and going strong.

Velometro VEEMO in Calgary at Beakerhead

Kody Baker and his team arrived in Calgary for the Beakerhead festivities. And of course showed off the VEEMO along our bike trails

Toronto Zoo has given green light to Magnovate Maglev rail

Toronto has an old monorail track sitting dormant at their zoo. Magnovate will be retrofitting their Maglev trains to use the track. Still several years out, but I'm pretty stoked to see it.

Great to see VeloMetro advancing things along for the Veemo velocar. They have a body finished and the vehicle was previewed at the BC Tech Summit in Vancouver recently. Here's a quick video of the car and interview with CTO, Kody Baker:

ECC 3 Clock Series - Tango Bistro Art show

It's been a while. Works kept me busy, but I've found a new hobby to design and build clocks from bike parts. This is a series of clocks with a title ECC 3 (Ecclesiastes 3) - "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens..." So far I've completed 7 clocks with a couple more on the way. I hope you enjoy and they're for sale if you're interested. Come out to Tango Bistro to have a look: www.tangobistro.ca
